The S.O. Venue is a ceremony-first space designed primarily for wedding ceremonies. We also host select professional and creative gatherings including workshops, seminars, networking events, book signings, art exhibits, and content production.
Receptions and catered dining events are not permitted.

Unfortunately no. In staying in compliance with Anne Arundel County zoning laws, The S.O. Venue cannot allow catering or food/beverages to be permitted on the premises. For that reason, TSOV is a non-catering facility focused primarily on ceremony experiences.

We offer four ceremony experiences:
• Classic Ceremony (5 hours)
• Intimate Ceremony (3 hours)
• Micro Ceremony (1 hour)

Yes, you'll need to obtain your marriage license 48 hours before your ceremony as required by Maryland State Law.

We recommend booking as soon as you are confident in your date to ensure availability.

A $500 deposit is required to reserve your date and is applied toward your total event fee. Once the deposit is received and your rental agreement is signed, your date is officially secure.

Yes. We understand every financial situation is different. Payment plan options are available and can be arranged during your booking process. Payment schedules will be outlined in your agreement.

We accommodate up to 150 guests seated and up to 200 guests standing, depending on the event and setup.

Yes. Amplified music is permitted within reasonable levels and in compliance with local regulations.
